EU likely to mull Russia’s gas supplies at Thursday summit

BRUSSELS, Oct 20 (PRIME) – The leaders of the E.U. countries are likely to discuss Russian natural gas supplies to the union at a summit on Thursday, an E.U. government official told reporters on Wednesday.

“Will they discuss Russia? I suppose so,” the official said.

The heads of the E.U. countries are likely to start the summit with discussions of energy prices in the region and the measures that could be taken to ease the consequences for households and businesses.
